Loaded Creamy Ranch Chicken
5 mins prepServes 4
Loaded Creamy Ranch Chicken is a quick one skillet dinner of golden-seared chicken breasts smothered in a homemade ranch cream sauce and topped with melty cheddar and crispy bacon.
0 Coat each chicken breast in olive oil and season both sides evenly with ranch seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and paprika.
1 Heat 2 teaspoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken 4–5 minutes per side until cooked through to an internal temperature of 165°F. Remove from the pan and reduce heat to low.
2 Melt the butter in the skillet, add the flour, and stir to combine into a roux. Allow it to cook for 2 minutes.
3 Add the chicken broth, heavy cream, and sour cream, followed by the ranch seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Whisk until fully incorporated and bring to a gentle simmer.
4 Return the chicken to the skillet and top each breast with cheddar cheese and bacon bits. Serve immediately and enjoy!
