These Garlic Parmesan Steak Bites are a quick, one-skillet dinner with juicy seasoned steak and a rich homemade cream sauce that is on the table in under 30 minutes.
Add the diced steak to a bowl with 2 teaspoons of olive oil. Toss to coat, then season with onion powder, garlic powder, and Montreal steak seasoning, tossing again until each piece is evenly coated.
Heat 1 teaspoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak bites for about 3 minutes on each side or until cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and reduce the heat to low.
Add the butter and onions to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes, then add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
Sprinkle in the flour and stir to combine with the butter. Cook the roux for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently.
Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Whisk until combined. Once the sauce begins to thicken, add the parmesan cheese and stir until smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Serve the steak bites over mashed potatoes and spoon the parmesan garlic sauce followed by bacon bits on top. Enjoy!
